_Super Mario Bros 3 for the original nintendo (the NES), you can battle against each other as you pass in the level select screen.
If you win, you can snatch the control of the game, as well as some of
the item cards they have collected. This makes for a fun flashy battle
game with a lot on the line, making victory urgent. There is a pow
block which sends tremors across the screen that can be abused by you or
your opponent. Do you waste the block at the beginning so no one can
harm each other with it? Or do you both decide the hazard is well worth
the chaos?
